Imagineer for the Day-Epcot

Epcot is a park that hasn’t seen new work in a long time. We will be seeing a new Frozen attraction in 2016 but if I were in an Imagineer for the day here is what I would do.

Epcot ball

World Showcase could really use some more attractions for the whole family, the films just aren’t cutting it. I would add a dark ride to Germany, one that takes you through different regions of Germany. The rooms could represent the most popular regions displayed on screens similar to that in the Gran Fiesta Tour.

Next in France we will take a ride with Remy from Ratatouille around Paris and follow his adventures based on the film.

If we wanted to go really bold we could add a Mary Poppins attraction in the United Kingdom pavilion. I’d love to see Mary and Bert on their Jolly Holiday.

In Future World I would also make some more changes. Let’s first get rid of Ellen’s Universe of Energy, in its place will go an E-ticket attraction similar to Test Track. Maybe an energy themed ride with is interesting and educational.

It is possible that after all the work is done in Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios that Epcot will see the next change.  But until then all we can do it dream!

If you missed Part I or Part II check them out!  Leave a comment of what you would change in Epcot.

What’s New At The Disney Store?

I don’t know about where you live, but there’s no Disney store local to me. We went on a road trip last week and I made my family stop off to check out the Disney outlet on our way. Here’s some of the cool stuff they had!
If you have a Sofia The First fan, they had plenty of things to choose from!

Headed to the beach or pool this summer? They have swimsuits and beach towels on sale in various prints for boys and girls!

Most of this is available via their website, but it’s fun to see things in person! Definitely gets you in the mood to plan a Disney trip!

Frozen Summer Fun 2015

Frozen Summer Fun Live is back again for 2015. Last summer it was such a huge hit that Disney has decided to do it again. It starts June 17 and runs through September 7, 2015 in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Calling it the “Coolest Summer Ever” the highlights include: Frozen Royal Welcome- located in the Hyperion Theater with the Royal Historians of Arendelle who retell the story of their kingdom with appearance by Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff.

Olaf’s Summer Cool Down- Olaf and friends come to the Event stage and he shares a burst of his personal snow cloud to cool things off.

“Coolest Summer Ever” Dance Party- once the sun is down near the Event stage there will be dance part featuring Disney characters and you can use a special hashtag to request songs over social media.

Frozen Fireworks- At the end of the night a fantastic fireworks display set to the music of Frozen.

The fireworks were a huge hit last year so we fully expect them to live up to the high standards Disney has set. If you are planning a visit this summer tell us what you are looking forward to most!
